What's new with TailoredMail There so much to talk about!
Check out just a few of the new enhancements within TailoredMail:
Date-based triggers
You can send automated emails based on a
date stored in a user's profile, such as their
Birthday, Anniversary, Subscription Renewal
date. You can even get creative and put together
a sequence of emails such as "10 days left until
your subscription expires."
Sequential Auto-Responders
Tee up a multi-email campaign that gets
delivered in a specific sequence, and on a
specific frequency. For example, a lead comes in
and they express an interest in 'Product A'. You
can automatically set up a campaign that will
deliver a weekly email (or whatever frequency
you want) that delivers information about that
product, Once they purchase, it can be automated
to STOP the campaign.
Campaign Previews
What you create in TailoredMail, and then view
in Outlook, for example, may look great. But, what
will it look like (with images on or off) in AOL,
Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, even Lotus Notes?
TailoredMail is adding campaign preview capability
to our other quality-control capabilities
(spam-filter scoring, html-validation, and
spell-checking).
Seed Lists automatically added to
broadcasts
You can define 1, 5, or however many people
to ALWAYS get a copy of every email/campaign
that gets sent out.
Turn on/off certain buttons and fields
to simplify interface
The user interface has numerous fields that may
or may not be relevant to your work flow. For
example, some clients don't build a text version
of each article....so why have the Text editor
field show up at all? We now have a way to turn on and
off buttons/fields on many of the most-frequently used
pages in the application.
Full Domain and URL customization for
image and click-through links
Now you have the ability to alter the URL
structure of the links within your emails so
that they reflect your company brand more
consistently (Before, we had to set this up
ourselves). For example, rather than links to
images or our tracker-links looking like:
There are even more customization options to
choose from, including the ability to use your
actual company domain (requires some
coordination with your IT team), such as:
Want to build click-through landing pages
within TailoredMail? Now it's dead simple to do.
All of them easily add a "Back to newsletter/email" link at the top or
bottom of the page. It keeps you within the
same browser window (along with all the dynamic
links and tracking of that user). In essence, our landing
pages create a mini-website for each newsletter/campaign
you broadcast. You get full tracking/reports of the
user's clicks for both the newsletter/campaign and
its
landing page(s).
Custom List "Groups"
For those of you who use a lot of custom
lists, we've enhanced the tool so that you can
now:
Organize them into "groups"
Set usage "permissions" to the group, so
that you can limit who can see/use lists in
that group
See who created the list, and when
(helps you clean out old lists, if needed)
Click a "Show Broadcasts" button to see
if the list has been used with any
previous broadcasts
Organized the creation of dynamic and
static lists, as well as the "Actions" you
can take with them into a single UI.
Enhanced HTML Editor Features
Did you know you can create item/article
templates with ease? Design image hotspots?
Expand the editor to 'full-screen' mode
for greater ease-of-use? Automatic WORD
cleaning? There are numerous new capabilities in
our newly released version of the HTML editor.
Double-Byte Support
Now you can create broadcasts for just about
ANY language. Double-byte languages such as
Japanese, Chinese, Russian, and some 50+ other
language options are now fully supported.
Enhanced Reports
Ever seen our "Hotspot" report? It gives you
a visual representation of the click popularity
in any broadcast. It helps you define *where* a
subscriber is clicking the most...interestingly
it's not always the links at the top! We also
have 5-hour, 7-day, and Top Domain
reports that also help you
Triggers
This is the beginning of a new and growing
functionality within TailoredMail. Currently you
can automatically add/remove people from a
Custom List based on whether they opened an
email, clicked something in the email, or narrow
it down to a specific link if you want to. This
will soon expand by allowing you to define
specific property and behavior triggers. For
example - the logic could be, "If subscriber
clicks Link A, send an email to our salesperson
at xyz@email.com".
Power Tips for using Custom Lists
This feature/tool within TailoredMail has
limitless capabilities. Essentially we give you
a full querying capability of the database, and
then tools to take actions against those
queries. You can also do creative merge/purge
functions, set up "Groups" of lists, restrict
who can see/use them, and much, much more.
The Power of "Projects"
Some of you are already enjoying the
numerous advantages of using our "Projects"
feature. Easier authoring/broadcasting,
simplified organization of content, automatic
archiving, and importantly - powerful
'rolled-up' broadcasting reports. We've
added new organization tools to keep all your
Projects in the order you prefer.
These are, believe it or not, just *some* of the
recent enhancements rolled out within TailoredMail this
last quarter.
